Ernie's "Sing to the world..." has really taken off and the roof was raised. Similarly, "Hail Redeemer" always gets a good response – but this is a Liverpool piece, written for our cathedral, and as much of an anthem as "You'll never walk alone". Next Sunday will feel very quiet and meditative in comparison – but that's quite deliberate.
