There are some pieces which work best on one specific day of the liturgical year only. We sang two of those today: You sons and daughters of the Lord which tells the tale of doubting Thomas and Godhead here in hiding with the line "I am not like Thomas, wounds I cannot see". Sadly the latter is so little known these days. He is risen, tell the story, was new to most of the congregation today – but they had a pretty good bash at it!
