For all the saints
At least one of our number was upset by this feast being transferred to October 31 – her birthday has always been on All Saints Day and she wasn't too happy about it being moved!
I can't imagine today beginning with anything but James Walsh's Saints of God and ending with For All the Saints. But we also had a triumphant Gloria. And there's something about Haugen's Bring Forth the Kingdom which brings out the rebel in me.
The choir took Fr Graeme and I out for lunch. We were well fed and liberally watered – and we weren't allowed to pay a penny. But that's typical of the good people of Our Lady Immaculate.
