And, today, we said goodbye to Fr Graeme who is moving to Chorley. The post-Communion Song was the choir's prayer for him. Pat Harris – who was baptised in the old church and still lives in the parish – presented Graeme with a cheque which, we hope, will help him to buy and stock his new fishpond. After Mass we had a parish barbecue which, as we write, is still going on.
