The Liverpool Marathon. And our church was cut off by road blocks as runners from all over the UK jogged around the 10K route. Those of us who felt slightly less energetic had to leave our cars half-a-mile away and walk! Fr Richard has warned everyone and advised those who could to go to Mass in one of other, more accessible, buildings, leaving us with the smallest congregation ever – 42 including choir and servers.
