And another Triduum comes to an end. This year there were new texts to deal with – and we didn't take them all on board. As we have three communities coming together for the celebrations, the priority was the eucharistic acclamations – and they worked reasonably well. However, work began on next year immediately after the Vigil – in a small dock road pub – and Behold the wood of the cross and The Reproaches are already planned.
Again, we are grateful to the instrumentalists who come to help us out at festival time. So many, many thanks to (Good Friday) Jayne, Brian, Cameron, John and Andrew and (Easter Sunday) Rona, Jayne and John.
And, of course, we can't forget the Immaculate Singers – they're there week after week, leading the assembly in song. They worked incredibly hard over the last four days and should be rightly proud of what they achieved.
