We travelled to St Francis Xavier Church, half a mile up the road, to lead the singing at Confirmations for our pastoral area. Archbishop Malcolm confirmed 20 adults in a simple and moving service. And there was certainly spirit in the singing – the congregation, from communities across the area, sang everything we threw at them and said thank you afterwards. A memorable occasion.
