He is risen, tell the story
Ever had one of those days? I had no voice (think it was hay fever), the psalmist was very under the weather (she didn't know what it was), half the choir (and most of the congregation) were on holiday, three families turned up for baptism – and I printed the old words for the Holy on the service sheet – while the choir sang the new ones! So it was something of a relief when one of the visitors came up to say, "You have a lovely parish up here. I always love coming." But I still skulked away a little!
